The Computherm Q2RF signal amplifier is designed to increase the radio frequency range of the Q3RF, Q7RF and Q8RF thermostats. The room thermostats refer to the factory data in the open field for approx. They have a range of 50m, but building structures can greatly shorten this. To maintain range or increase range in larger buildings, it is recommended to use the Q2RF socket, which receives the thermostat signal and transmits it to the receiver.
Another benefit is that the amplifier does not take up space on the socket because it also functions as a power outlet.
